Secure Colocation Data Center Protects Your Investment

EasyStreet's SAS 70 Type II audited Data Center offers robust levels of colocation reliability and security to protect your company's hardware and software investment.

Protected connectivity

  • Fully managed, redundant network infrastructure.
  • All servers and network infrastructure are behind a redundant Check Point® NGX™ firewall cluster to filter inbound traffic and maintain data and application security.
  • Connectivity through multiple entrances to the Internet backbone via separate fiber-based fault-tolerant networks.
  • Routers between your cabinet and the Internet minimize potential points of failure.

Scalable cabinet space

  • Full-height and partial-cabinet increments all 17 5/8 inches wide.
  • Full, 1/3 and Super Condo cabinets available in 30 or 39-inch depths; the 1/2, 1/4 and Condo cabinets are 30 inches deep.
  • Full-height and new partial cabinets have a perforated door.
  • Older private cabinets (1/2, 1/3 and 1/4) have solid door with fan and individual locks.
  • Condo and Super Condos use a shared lock and door.

Redundant power

  • Dedicated 1500kVA Portland General Electric (PGE) service is backed by two 300kVA CleanSource® UPS systems with efficient flywheel energy storage and two battery-powered 300kVA UPS systems.
  • EasyStreet buys 100% PGE Clean WindSM power offsets for the data center.
  • The UPS systems are configured 2N and are backed up by three independent diesel generators with a combined capacity of 1400kVA. The generators are exercised every other week for 60 minutes under full load.
  • Independent 20A feeds to each cabinet. Full and half-size cabinets have dual power feeds, one-third and smaller cabinets have single feed.
  • Full cabinet, 39" deep: 1x20 Amp or 2x20 Amp.
  • Full cabinet, 30" deep: 2x20 Amp.
  • 1/2 cabinet, 30" deep: 1x20 Amp or 2x10 Amp. (Power configuration is cabinet-specific.)
  • 1/3 cabinet, 39" deep: 1x20 Amp or 2x20 Amp.
  • 1/3 cabinet, 30" deep: 1x10 Amp.
  • 1/4 cabinet, 30" deep and Super Condo, 30" or 39" deep: 1x7 Amp.
  • Condo. 30" deep: 1x4 Amp.
  • All primary and secondary systems regularly maintained and tested.
  • Additional power configurations are available up to redundant three-phase, 30 Amp, 208 V (for full cabinets).

HVAC and mechanical systems

  • Multiple independent 30-ton HVAC units control humidity and filter air.
  • Monitored 24/7 by the NOC.

Advanced fire protection

  • Fenwal laser-based high-sensitivity smoke and heat-detection system.
  • Pre-action water-based fire-suppression system.

Secure accessibility

  • Accessible 24/7 for your authorized personnel.
  • Ample and convenient parking.
  • Electronic card locks block unauthorized access.
  • Key locks to provide secure access to your cabinet space.

Physical security

  • Physically staffed on-site 24/7.
  • Monitored for intrusion detection with internal alarming and external security service.
  • Entrance allowed by card key and fingerprint ID only.
  • All access logged.
  • Cameras providing additional surveillance.

Physical stability

  • Situated on flat, stable ground with no known faults, flood plains, flight paths or other geological threats.
  • Cabinets are bolted to foundation for seismic stability.
  • Overhead ladders anchored for additional vertical stability.

Rugged Cisco-based network

  • Switched gigabit, 100BaseT Ethernet network.
  • Powerful, redundant Cisco routers configured in three-tier architecture comprising core, edge and service aggregation.
  • Network protected by an intrusion detection system (IDS) for blocking security threats and avoiding performance degradation.

Internet connectivity

  • Separate upstream Internet connections through three Tier 1 providers: AT&T, Qwest and Level 3.
  • Northwest Access Exchange (NWAX), a regional Internet exchange, Point of Presence (PoP) for the highest performance with local peers.

Fiber connections

  • Network connections delivered over Gigabit fiber optic connections from Verizon, Qwest, Integra (formerly Electric Lightwave) and OnFiber.
  • Multiple vendors supported by separate fiber and entrance facilities to minimize impact of an outage, reduce costs and simplify network upgrades.
